Trade associations

• The Heating & Ventilating Contractors' Association (HVCA)'s education and training section has information on all of the areas below as well as competent person training
• The Association of Plumbing & Heating Contractors and the Scottish & Northern Ireland Plumbing Employers' Federation work in association with BPEC Certification who run various courses and have information on assessment centres.
• England, Wales and NI: The Electrical Contractors' Association has information on training existing staff, professional development, supervisory/management and general business skills.

• CIBSE's training and CPD section provides information on short courses, employer training schemes, accredited degrees and a wide range of other professional development information.
