Apprenticeships are an effective way of recruiting staff who are motivated to learn and make your business more productive. Apprentices learn through a combination of on and off the job learning.
On the job they work alongside your staff, off the job they attend a local learning provider, like a further education college (usually on a day release basis) working towards nationally recognised qualifications.
In most cases you will work with a local learning or training provider to identify which type of apprenticeship will meet your business needs. They can also assist in the recruitment of your apprentices.
